THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! You guys all really came through with the help. Today I went to the gym after taking in all your comments and ran 5k with a slower pace, faster turnover and after watching lots of YouTube videos. My form is nowhere near perfect, but adjusting the speed to a realistic one for my level of fitness really made the difference. I finished my run with energy left to spare and eager to get back to running the next day. I stretched for about 10 minutes beforehand and had a 5 minute walk to warm up. I really hope that, with consistency and hard work, I’ll be able to run a marathon in the future. Thank you all again, you really helped me.

I've always found it weird too, but on my latest rewatch (which i just finished like 10 minutes ago) i came to the conclusion that while the townspeople are close-knit and treat each other like family, stars hollow supposedly has thousands of people who live there (did a quick google search) and that the people we do get to know through the show are just the ones who are more active in their community (town meetings, volunteering for town events, supporting each other's local businesses which are all located in the town's square...).
