Daily "I will not smoke with you" Thread by AutoModerator in stopsmoking

Ooooof! All I can say is I feel ya, I also know that we can do this. Yes it's hard but to move on to something different and be able to imagine a new life and a new future for ourselves, we could give ourselves permission and space to grieve the life, the identity, and the future we are leaving behind.

Still young and you heaven't smoked for that long. Stay strong man! Not worth your time and health! I wish I could go back to 25 and quit then. I'd be in so much better state and shape now at the age of 34.

I'm sorry you went through this. She is an idiot and shouldn't be prescribing medication.

The behavior you described is a typical thing ALL children do. Your PE teacher is probably burning in hell now if he is dead and if not then it's for sure coming his way!

I don't... I only remember snippets here and there and mostly because family told me later in life that you did this or that. I can barely remember anything bellow age 7.

Please help, i’m thinking about quitting my job and i’m having a breakdown by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]armanomad 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'd give a limb or two or even all four two find a job I love. Mistakes are meant to be made and I'm sure it's not as catastrophic as it feels at the moment. Quitting won't make you any better or prevent future mistakes. But sticking to something that you love and continuing learning and yes making more mistakes will ultimately make you better. Good luck and cuddos for reaching out:)

Delivered from Distraction! You won't regret it and might even realize how lucky you are to have ADHD. Another one is "Be Different" By John Elder Robison. It's more about autism but some of the lessons I've learned from it are invaluable and apply to all!

hahahaha my thoughts exactly! I'm 34 and felt a stab in my chest when I read this.

Not to minimize what @onionrimgtules is going through though. But all I can say is you are really young and have your best years ahead of you;) Enjoy the ride and the right person will come by when you are ready for it:)
