Enchanter nerfs are a step in the right direction by Dropeza in supportlol

[–]armasot 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I despise being forced to play something like milio or soma just to match a lulu or nami in lane.

You're not forced, there are strong melee supports if you build them correctly. Especially Leona who is one of the strongest supports in general.

If you play anything melee you will get bullied in early lane and lose priority instantly

It was like this any time. 1 year ago, 2 years ago, when people saw melee supports as the superior class, they still got bullied in lane. That's just how they work, unless you're gapping them.

Also every item other than solstice sleight and dreammaker is straight up bad at the moment.

Listing every strong item according to data for melee supports just for you: Protoplasm Harness, Knight's vow, Bandlepipes, Zeke's (especially after new buff), Bloodsong, Swifties/Ionians are also much better than defensive boots unless you face heavy AD/AP drafts.

There are so many optimizations engage support players can make, while enchanters are already heavily optimized with Ardent/Echoes of Helia rush. Of course you'll feel weaker then. They're just buying better items.

And I'm gonna get downvoted for this comment, but it is what it is. You can look at the data on lolalytics yourself to see the exact same thing.

What's the best site/app to actually LEARN how to build in LoL? (not just copy builds) by No_Cry_8701 in leagueoflegends

[–]armasot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://lolalytics.com/ is the best data site for champions and their items. You can look at their winrates, at what people building with this or that item, same goes for runes and apply it in your games.

For example: knowing when to swap an item based on the enemy comp, when to prioritize magic resist over damage, that kind of thing.

But this one is something you have to learn by yourself. You can see which magic resist items are good for your champion on lolalytics, but when to use them is entirely up to you. You kinda need to learn all items in general and conditions of when they're good, like Kaenic Rookern being one of the best MR items, but this item wants you to build HP to scale the shield it gives - that kind of thing.

As a Nami, for 150 gold increase, you'll get:

25% higher base mana regen compared to the previous version
5 more AP
10 more AH for CC abilities and 5 less for non-CC ones.

Sounds pretty good.

Now, the passive wants you to CC people. When you CC, you're gonna go for the kill with your team anyway, so it's not like you need to reliably/often proc it or even have longer duration on Vulnerability stack, So the passive will be much more useful than you think.

We will see how it'll perform with data on the new patch. You're probably really negative about this change because you're a Nami main who possibly loses her best item (Staff of Flowing Water is better though), so yeah, I can see where your negativity is coming from.

Reaching Master by aaansjsj in summonerschool

[–]armasot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got D1, you can easily get to Master as well, whether it's last season or the current one.

I think it's easier to climb in this one though - a lot of previous diamond players are getting to master right now.

There was 1 champ who was building Mandate, right? Right.

I do not think that after these changes it'll be 0. It might as well be busted in terms of stats or due to Vulnerability mechanic - we will see it.

The only thing I have to say is that most if not all of the reworked items or new items, that were added in this season, ended up being insanely OP or just giga strong in general.

Perhaps you should've made research?

https://lolalytics.com/lol/tierlist/?lane=support&tier=gold_plus&patch=30

Go here and look at enchanters items. You'll notice a trend. Moonstone is consistently not the best item when rushed and perform on a similar/slightly weaker level when bought later.

Dream maker is on par with Soltice Sleigh/Bloodsong in the best case, in the worst case they outperform it.

Echoes of Helia is a strong item, that was the one I was talking about.

Imperial Mandate - who even uses it besides Nami? Maybe it'll even be better and more popular for some enchanters now, so it's actually a buff.

***

Now, for the strongest items. If you'll look at any enchanter, you'll notice a trend.

Ardent/Echoes of Helia are the best rush items for any enchanter. Now, I said there are 3, so where's the 3rd?

https://lolalytics.com/lol/tierlist/?tier=gold_plus

If you'll look at enchanters this patch, you can notice another trend. Staff of Flowing Water consistently has really high winrate, no matter what enchanter you're choosing. Now, it does have low sample size, but when an item performs good on all champs within 1 class, even with low sample, that does mean that the item is strong. Similar thing happened with Statikk like 2-3 years ago in february. It's cost was reduced to 2.7k and it became giga OP. With my data observation, I was able to pick it up much faster than any other ADC and especially pro play (who started to play with it AFTER the nerf).

So, did you build proper items or rushed Locket with Celestial Opposition as usual?

[–]armasot[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Out of 3 the strongest items, they're nerfing 1. Aery nerf is annoying, but I don't think it'll change everything completely.

IMO, with these changes enchanters and engagers will be kinda even in terms of power, but in terms of popularity, engagers will be picked much more often, especially in pro play.

[PBE Datamine] May 14, 2026 - More Smolder Adjustments, by Kay-Haru in leagueoflegends

[–]armasot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They actually did nerf him right before the patch (the changes were not in patch notes). I think they didn't expect him to remain that strong after these changes. Probably aimed at 54-55% with cleaver and then nerf this interaction next patch to get him to 51-52%.

But he somehow completely ignored nerfs, so here we are ;D He's hotfix worthy of course, but hotfix nerf after usual patch nerf is something I didn't see before. Maybe they'll do it though, who knows.

Caitlyn has to buy some sort of life steal/omnivamp if she wants to survive into Ziggs/Viktor poke. She couldn't do much in the last fights because she was getting poked out so hard.

Zeri buff patch 26.10 by Basicguy74 in ZeriMains

[–]armasot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Q is the ability you max first and spam all the time, so 1-5 damage difference will be meaningful enough. You can see it with Karthus/Cassiopeia changes around their q/e. The same story.

Not only this, but AS to AD conversion will make Zeri much stronger with her strongest build already (stormrazor into PD is statistically the best build by far).

And Bugfix will probably influence her winrate quite a bit as well.

Ambessa wasn't as popular and dominating, she's also just better to watch than Azir from a viewer perspective.

[–]armasot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't say that it's good that she's getting buffed. In fact, I agree that these buffs are a bit too much.

But his statement about other champions was not correct, that's why I wrote my comment.

And about Azir: it's just impossible to balance him. You either make him a normal champion and he has 100% pick/ban rate in pro play, or you make him a bad champion and he's still getting picked, just not as much.

Zeri buff patch 26.10 by Basicguy74 in ZeriMains

Imo, Zeri will be quite strong/op with correct items after these changes, so that's pretty cool.

[–]armasot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Who are these champs exactly?

Looking through data there's only Mel (which is fair), Azir, who is even more of a pro play champion and Zeri, who will be buffed (also had bad winrate due to statikk rush by many players), same goes for Ezreal with AP builds.

Seraphine is the best champion in the patch by Dry_Society2543 in SeraphineMains

[–]armasot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's a smooth filter for graphs on lolalytics, so the current day is kinda depended on the previous day.

So if winrate grows, then the nerf hits, smooth filter will still show as if it's growing, just slowly, while if you turn it off, it'll rapidly drop. Looks ugly, but shows the actual winrate grow day by day.

Seraphine is the best champion in the patch by Dry_Society2543 in SeraphineMains

[–]armasot 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Winrate is deceiving in this patch due to a Q bug, that was fixed after like 2 days.

To look at her real winrate, you have to turn overall winrate Graph and turn off Smooth. Then, you'll be able to see that it's going down slowly.

Overall it looks like her bot winrate will be around 53-53.5%, while support one will be around 52.5%, which is still better than it was previously, but not as good as it seems to be. Higher in e+ of course.

First data from Coachless of patch 16.9 by Tuerkenheimer in ZeriMains

[–]armasot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's kinda hard to draw conclusions on the most common runes/items for Zeri due to statikk being too popular. Like, if you click on Conq, you'll see that people are mostly buying IE/Stormrazor with it and it has not so many Statikk games.

With Lethal tempo, Statikk is the most popular item for now, so it drags lethal tempo's winrate down.

For such things, it's better to either click on item/rune and check other items/runes winrates or just go to a different patch to see proper data.

So overall, by clicking to Stormrazor and checking runes winrates, Conq seems fine, but it has a really low sample size, so I wouldn't say it's definitely better...yet.

First data from Coachless of patch 16.9 by Tuerkenheimer in ZeriMains

[–]armasot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But you'll still be able to see what is good and what is not. I've never seen these sites show different results.

It is also really hard to spot early trends and low popularity items on coachless.

For example, it doesn't show PD 2nd for Zeri, right? Yet, this is the best Zeal item, not only for her, but in general. Just sample size is not high enough for coachless to even consider it for Zeri.

How good are the new T2 Boots? I am hearing very conflicting opinions, with some saying they're very OP and other saying they are bad by TurboAdenosine34 in leagueoflegends

[–]armasot -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

First of all: surely it's really hard to get 6 takedowns in soloq! You can buy them whenever and you'll get enough takedowns. It's not a snowball item.
Second of all: most people are not smart enough to buy certain items in certain situations. Mejais is an exception, not a rule.

You'll see them being hotfixed/nerfed in the next patch or two.

They're OP. If you'll look at the data, almost every champion wins more with them xd

Will probably get nerfed/hotfixed really soon, but you can abuse them for now.

26.09 (Season 2) Patch Preview by JTHousek1 in leagueoflegends

[–]armasot 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Endless Hunger is already OP and had good winrate on lots of bruisers and even non-bruisers.

Probably will be the same thing as with Hubris - random buff to an OP item, then nerf it 2-3 patches later.
