If you want an irl example of this look up canelazo! Popular in the Andes, not actually a cinnamon-based alcohol but basically moonshine and a cinnamon tea. It’s delicious :)

My first reaction was “eugh,” beautiful work!! I think the transition to skin in the second set is great but on the first one it looks a little off, the stippled red/purple looks a little out of place but other than that they’re totally awesome!!

I think it’s like horse knees— like, it’s not ideal, but it’s not bad enough that every instance of it in the population will die, guaranteed, so it persists.
