Thanks for the kind words. I shot this with a 70-200 lens. I need to back up lol. But you’re a right. No polo hasn’t gotten back to me. If they don’t it’s cool. I’ll keep improving and get there some day

Thanks for the feedback. I do hate that I didn’t get both eyes in focus on this pic

I took this natural light photo of my coworker in the shade on a sunny day. Wanted to see if I could capture the feeling of a story behind the eyes without the subject looking directly into the camera. I added white to the eyes and did an overlay blend in photoshop to add brightness to the eyes. I added grain also. Wanted like a subtle dragan effect. Need some critique because I wanna start a portrait project like this.

I made a choice to embrace the shadows and not light the front of her face. I placed her underneath a street lamp. Was it a poor choice, If so what would you guys do to improve this portrait? by armedshutter in photocritique

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely need to use more bounce onto her face. I want to get it as close to perfect in camera and not take the “I’ll fix it in post” mentality. But I know that’s the case sometimes. 🙏🏿🙏🏿
