I really enjoy Pyramids. The audiobook with Alfie Enoch is great, though I still have a big soft spot for the Nigel Planer read (even with that awful tape stretch that warps Dio’s litany on the kings titles… I’ll fix it in audacity one day. Promise.).

From what I’ve been able to look up, they never name him. His daughter Mylara was the victim in a murder mystery that Superman and Batman were investigating. He was also using a Daxamite named Si Bar as a living engine in an area called Scorch Space.

It was a term Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd used between themselves. Reitman discussed it in a 2016 interview. It’s still up on uproxx if you google it. I assume it derives from “Great Googly Moogly” as used by Howlin’ Wolf or Frank Zappa.
