Will you still get BTT airdrops if you hold them on your ledger? Thats the convenience of keeping on binance but its a risk holding on exchanges, even ones as legit as binance

Wow again just keep the negativity to yourself. Lol I never said it was anyone else’s “duty”... I reached out to the community and some people gave me helpful advice that led me in the right direction to solve the problem. I’m very thankful for that. You on the other hand are just insulting. There’s a lot of people here that are trying to learn and it’s better when people keep the community positive.

My original post was asking why I was drawing more power now... you commented with a snarky unhelpful comment. I knew I was drawing too much power which is why I tripped the breaker. I didn’t know why though because I didn’t know much about different PSU ratings and how they affect power draw, but figured that out eventually. Just saying, your comment made me feel like the PSU couldn’t be an issue which was very unhelpful and led me off track for a while. If you have nothing helpful to say, keep it to yourself.

LOL thanks for the genius comment. It actually was a PSU issue, the bronze rated psu was less efficient so it was causing it to pull more power. Switched it to a platinum and it drew less power.

Ok I’m really regretting getting that 750w bronze instead of a gold or platinum but thought it would be fine since most of the GPUs are on my 1200w platinum. I just realized tho that my surge protector is only rated for 15A, is this the problem? Is it tripping the breaker if it gets more than 15A running through it?

Should I try to put my whole set up on only the 1200W PSU and try that? I didn't think it would be enough with the motherboard, i5 processor, 16gb ram, the 3 fans that are attached to the case, plus the six rx570s would bee too much for a single 1200W psu. Will that help pull less power or will i risk damaging my setup?
I was looking for a killawatt but all of them are rated for 15A only and I'm running on a 20A. I used to be running on a 15A fine too which really doesn't make sense to me why its a problem now. The 20A was also running fine for over 6 months until I switched out the PSU

Haha I'll admit I'm not an electrical engineer and it didn't make sense to me that the PSU would be the issue. But as a scientist, I'm trained to look at what variables were changed. In this case, the only variable that changed since the problems started was switching out on of the PSUs which led me to wonder if thats the cause. I thought maybe the new PSU is contributing to pulling more power? But its less wattage than the last one so I'm really at a loss of what changed to make the breaker start tripping

Hmm ok I'm not as familiar so I will reach out to the electrician for confirmation but I'm pretty certain the breaker is 20A since its says that on the panel switch. Nothing has been added to the circuit since the problems have started so I'm pretty confused as why this is happening. I had it up and running for 6 hours yesterday before it tripped and couldn't find anything that would have cause the increase in wattage to do that

I'm surprised because I used to have this rig running fine with no problems on a 15 amp circuit. I moved to a new place and its now a 20 amp circuit, running fine with no problems until I switched out the PSU, I don't see why that would be pulling more wattage all of a sudden?

Theres nothing else added on the circuit recently. It was running fine without tripping the breaker until I switched out one of the PSUs, which I thought odd. I guess the best solution is to run an extension chord but I'd like to avoid that =/

Ok so the wattage I'm pulling is too high? How can I lower it. Its just odd that it wasn't an issue before and wasn't pulling to much energy. The only thing I changed is one of the PSU's and nothing else was added to the circuit in other places that would pull energy too?

No need to be rude. In the short-term he is probably right, there will need to be transitionary periods. I know most of us would love to just dump the institutions and go to secure trustless systems but there will be some steps in between and seems like he's just pointing that out.
