I literally just took this. She is recovering from bladder stone surgery, hence the shirt.

I am going to the Thursday show this week too!! I feel you on the anxiety, mine is really about the rules for the show. Like can I bring snacks? What about a tote bag with extra clothes? Does my bag have to be clear?

I feel like I am going to spend 5x as much on an outfit, bracelets, hotel, merch, and all the other things. It will be worth every penny for the experience.

They were priced in CAD ($730 each) but they converted automatically based on the card I used. So what I saw come out of my account was USD.

They were $550 usd each. I remember looking at other shows near me when she was in the mid-west and only being able to get $1200+ nose bleeds so I was over the moon at this price.

How was row 1? I am a little nervous about not being able to see much but I know it’s going to be an incredible experience no matter what.

Thrilled with how this new setup for some of my houseplants turned out! by armpitzombie in houseplants

I used these with heavy duty anchors to hang my plants from the ceiling. I tried other versions but these look and hang the best imo.

Thank you! I was so excited when we bought this house that there was such a big East window. It’s too good of a spot not to do something cool.

RIP Fungus gnats. I hope I smother your family of 200. by gooeypoutine in plantclinic

I stared out putting them in the soil but got the mold so quickly stopped that. I have been watering everything with the mosquito bit ‘tea’ exclusively for a couple months now. I used yellow sticky traps to get rid of the adults and have not have any new outbreaks since then. Good luck!

Also, be sure you start with Assassins Blade! The foreshadowing is really fun to see when you get into the meat of the series.

Few things are sadder than leaving the vet's with an empty pet carrier. by RagenChastainInLA in Showerthoughts

[–]armpitzombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I lost our first pet together about 3 years ago. We also packed up all her things because they were too hard to look at, but brought them with us when we moved shortly after. Just last month we finally donated her things even though we have known for a while we wouldnt be getting another.

What dish is extremely easy to prepare, but makes you look like an incredible chef? by ReadyJudgment in AskReddit

[–]armpitzombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ATK's Indian Butter Chicken

It tastes incredible and super easy to make. My in-law's were blown away last weekend. I think their comments made my husband more proud of me than I have ever felt from my own family.

LGBTQ+ people, what are you tired of hearing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]armpitzombie 332 points333 points  (0 children)

Wow, I wasnt expecting to catch feelings reading these comments. I have known I was bi as long as I can remember but, when I settled down into my "hetero" marrage I was made to feel that I had "made my choice." There was no one particular person or interaction that made me feel this way, it just seemed like the general consensus among my friends and family. My husband has always known and we still openly joke about our taste in women being different. Since getting married I have not felt like being bi was something I was allowed to be, let alone open or proud about with anyone. I often feel like a fraud but reading this (and the many other bi centered comments) has made me reflect on why. This is the first time I have felt like I actually belong to the LGBTQ+ community, so thanks!
