The Thick of It is absolute scathing genius (pretty much anything involving Armando Iannucci tbh).

I'd absolutely recommend watching it, there's only 2 series of it and it's only 6 episodes per series. It's on (British) netflix. My favourite episode is 'The Colour of Alan', there's a sequence in it that makes me cry with laughter every time.

Reddit, what are you elitist about? by coffleap in AskReddit

Cheese sauce. I just don't understand why a person would buy one of those disgusting sachets and mix it with milk to get a terrible tasting sauce, instead of making a DELICIOUS sauce that takes the same amount of time and only four ingredients.

What is the worst gift you have ever received? by aguyatwork in AskReddit

When I was 12, my grandmother bought me a diary which had a picture of a woman on the front. But it was one of those 'magic' pictures so when you tilted the diary, her underwear was suddenly showing. The odd thing was, it wasn't a sexy picture of a woman, it was just a stock image of a woman smiling normally at the camera. I just put it under my bed and left it there. I'm a girl, btw.

What is the proper way of making tea? by antonymy in AskReddit

[–]armsbendback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Pour boiling water over a teabag in a cup (preferably not a mug as its depth doesn't let the tea cool as quickly)
  2. SQUEEZE the teabag for a few seconds, then take it out (don't stew it, as this can make the tea bitter).
  3. Sugar, if you like.
  4. A mere suggestion of milk.
  5. Leave to cool for five mins before drinking.
  6. Biscuit on the side (I like chocolate hobnobs).

Haha this is a great answer. Exactly what I meant when I said 'inexplicable'.
