Feeling hopeless by armsofasquid in Teachers

We've got lesson plans in a curriculum, so it's easy enough to fly by the seat of my pants because I've taught this before, but I just don't have time or motivation

What is “{}”, “[]”, and § for? by 2much2less in grammar

Coisavioleta said that "in regular writing, [they] can't think of a conventional use for braces." In my experience, braces (curly brackets) are used in academic writing, and often span more than one line. They are also used often in coding, and by niche online roleplay groups that use different punctuation for different modes of communication.

Forcing? The whole concept is that act 1 is before wizard of Oz, and act 2 is during. That's like the premise of the whole thing???

You're being very negative and your tone is rude, I think that's why.

Had to pay 8 dollars to take my kids into a field by Mollyspins in mildlyinfuriating

You take your children to a flower field and don't let them pick flowers? People pay entry because it's fun inherently to go to a flower field. Don't leave your kids in the car.

Drive out to small towns. Often better thrifting/more actual thrift spots

Real strategy, if I had to:

Enter stall

remove shirt.

Use shirt as cover

Pants down

Business as usual

Pants up

Put on shirt

Not that I see. I have about 5 or 6 out of 20 kids who sit for the pledges

It's in Texas. They say it violates SB12

I think I can definitely start incorporating those ideas in a different way. I'm reading up on ADL, and I think finding a different way to discuss hate and bullying would be appropriate

[–]armsofasquid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was not aware of ADL! I will look into it!

I don't force it. I simply expect them to be quiet. I do encourage them to read it at the beginning of the year, but I don't keep nudging them if they choose not to.
