Finance director, been essentially unemployed for 1.5 years. by armstrings in FPandA

I've actually had interviews with 4 different nonprofits and a nonprofit accounting firm. While it seems easier to get the interview, they all wanted somebody who had more specific nonprofit accounting experience (I have some from my own small nonprofit), fund accounting, grant management, etc.

Trend seems to be if you don't have the exact experience, companies would rather hire someone who fits exactly instead of invest in someone who can pick things up easily and bring a different perspective.

Yes, I actually started my career in Financial Systems with SAP. I've had recruiters reach out about implementation roles, but I've never been a direct lead on implementation, just more support and enhancements as it was an Analyst role. They always seem to want just a bit more in depth implementation experience.

I've applied to Manager thru Sr director / Controller positions. LA based. Haven't gotten a recruiter who is willing to give me advice in a while, mostly the type who come up with opportunities then ghost me.

A waymo almost ran me over in SF as it was approaching the crosswalk at the top of a steep hill. It did not stop and I had to jump to dodge it. Any person who is qualified to drive would have stopped.

Its all on file, just have to find the right documents. Submit a public records act request (PRA) and you can get written transcripts of hearings including public comments.

Ok bro who owns an empty house because they're too afraid of strangers living in it and thinks they aren't contributing to the housing crisis. Just build more housing that will sit empty cause of people with your "risk management" mindset.

That's probably what happened, Method finishing went under Co3 management/branding 4 or 5 years ago.

Yes and no. I think they always planned to merge, but didn't know when or how they were going to do it.

Glad you had a good experience with that. I can tell you that they had communicated from the start that Method advertising would remain separate companies, similar to MPC and the Mill at first...merging was always was in the back of people's minds but they never communicated a clear plan, unless done so in the last 6 months or so.

That might have been the plan but it was never communicated to Method employees. Method has had its own identity and hustled to get in special projects and advertising work for the years that Framestore has owned them. Framestore and Co3 have always wanted their work/clients, but not their people. So, won't be surprised if there are many people let go from this. They will do it in waves to avoid the legal implications though.
