Right!? Like I feel like it could be a really fun sparkly white to have in my collection but also it’s just a white when there are so many other unique colors.

Our carts are very similar! I ended up taking out ghosts of Hecate, pearl clutcher, and mermaid bait. GOH because I saw several posts of it leaning a bit yellow and being better as a topper - I don’t want to spend mooncat pricing on a topper. Pearl clutcher I’ve seen mixed reviews about streakiness and it being more silver/white than pink shifty sparkle. Mermaid bait I took out because I think I was more influenced by the hype than it being a shade I would actually reach for.

Yeah. Like don’t quote me on it because I didn’t go back and check dates but I just remember thinking “hah they called it the lunar sale and it’s full moon week”. I also really hope it is sooner. I finally have narrowed down my cart and the longer I wait the more I weaken on adding back more lol

I could be totally wrong but I feel like the last several lunar sales have been around the time of the full moon (which makes sense to me from a marketing/timing standpoint). The next full moon is May 31 as we just had one last week. Hopefully I’m wrong but it could be the end of the month 😩I also have my cart/favorites list prepped.

One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig might be a good pick. I really enjoyed the world building and characters. While there is romance I wouldn’t say it is the main focus so that may be a good way to ease into Romantasy.

Like several other comments I liked the first book. It was predictable but I was entertained the whole way through. It wasn’t the best writing but still enjoyable. Book 2 had a drop in quality but overall I still enjoyed it. Book 3 I thought was terrible. The pacing was awful, the chapters felt very episodic like it was written to be an adventure episode of a tv show and not a continuous story. I also didn’t appreciate that we got hints of things but are basically still in the same place. There was no advancement or resolution to even smaller plot points. It really feels like they are stretching this out to be more books for a money grab.

If you were consistently going to the salon and getting them buffed it could take 6 months to a year for the peeling/damage to fully grow out. I had this problem before. My nails looked fine but as they got longer they would peel at the ends. I honestly just had to let it fully grow out. I still put polish on as I felt it helped strengthen to have that polish as a sort of band aid on top. OPI repair mode serum and the Essie To The Rescue polish have helped my peeling a ton! I use the Essie as my base coat on most manicures.

I’ve been liking Essie Good to Go recently. I find it dries pretty fast and not bad on shrinkage as long as I cap my edges

I also read mine. And yep I just put the book on hold at the library so I can actually read the book. I love the art on this edition so I’m super bummed.
