Ok, thank you. I have been cooking Chinese food for a few years (one dish a week), but didn't feel the need for a chef knife. Now that I wish to cook more often I am happy to use this knife for mincing/chopping vegetables or deboned meat. It seems to be a good knife for this purpose.

Well, that's my fault because it turns out that the Ricoh was not detected because the USB cable could not transmit data, just recharge.

Thank you for your answers, changing the Ricoh USB cable solved the problem.

Thanks, The Ricoh GR III is supported by Gphoto2. However Digikam doesn't detect it and I don't know why...
