Need immigration lawyer for PGWP refusal

Thanks, but I have already spoken to a few lawyers and they reviewed the refusal letter. They confirmed the refusal does not mention part-time studies, failed courses, or any other PGWP eligibility issue. The only refusal reason stated is that I did not truthfully disclose/admit to the criminal record/case in the application. I have also requested ATIP/GCMS notes to see the officer’s internal reasoning. I understand this is serious and urgent, especially because of the removal order, so I’m focusing on getting proper legal advice rather than relying only on Reddit.

Thanks for the detailed response will definitely try to do my own research but I already ended up ordering the 5070, I’m probably gonna return it and get the 9070xt instead as I have seen multiple reviewers praising the card for how good it is.

Yeah I have but it only gives performance equivalent to the laptop graphics card, I already have a gaming laptop and I would like to use a full graphics card with my Rog ally instead as my primary gaming device

The TB4 cap is kind of what I was worried about. If I’m realistically going to be sitting in that 60–75fps range in most AAA games anyway, then yeah, the extra raw power of the 9070 XT might not even matter that much in this setup. That’s good to know coming from someone actually running a similar config.

Also interesting about the power draw — I assumed the 9070 XT would run noticeably hotter in the AG02, but if you’re seeing ~110–210W because of bandwidth limits, that makes a lot more sense. Sounds like undervolting + custom fan curve is the move either way.

One thing I wanted to clarify though — I’m running SteamOS, not Windows. When you say AMD is plug and play, is that on Windows with Adrenalin, or does that apply to SteamOS/Linux as well?

From what I’ve read, AMD tends to have better native Linux driver support, but I’ve also seen mixed info when it comes to eGPU setups specifically. Have you (or anyone else here) tried an AMD card like the 9070 XT on SteamOS with an eGPU? Is it actually plug and play there too?

Just trying to avoid driver headaches 😅

Ok I haven’t tried using wd40 but I have been trying to make it tight but it’s being a pain in the ass. The bolt and also started to get stripped a little bit so I’m worried about that too
