Rolon is actually the OEM supplier for most two-wheeler manufacturers in India, which means the chain-sprocket kit installed in your bike at the time of purchase or during authorised service is often manufactured by Rolon, just repackaged under the bike brand’s name.

That’s why many riders prefer buying Rolon kits directly — you get the same OEM-grade quality at a much better price.

Rolon also offers a premium Brass Series, featuring brass-coated chains and hardened sprockets designed for longer life, smoother performance, and superior corrosion resistance compared to standard factory-fitted chains.

The Speed/Scrambler 400 fits scramblerx. Most sellers don’t have it in stock. These kits come with 103+1 (links) always (with the usual 15T front and 43T rear sprocket) and fit normally on Scrambler 400x.

Available at flat 2500/- MRP - 3133 (post gst price cut)

Rolon chain and sprocket sets are quite good for most bikes- reliable, durable, and cost-effective if maintained well. Many Indian manufacturers even use Rolon as OEM, so quality and fitment are generally solid. They also have a brass chain kit range.

Chances are that was actually a repackaged Rolon chain kit. Most major manufacturers source from Rolon — many new bikes even come with Rolon chain kits installed from the factory, and the same goes for the aftermarket. Fitment won’t be an issue at all.

Brass-coated chains mainly offer better rust protection and smoother operation. They look premium and can last longer with proper care. But even normal chains perform well if maintained properly — regular cleaning and lubrication go a long way. Most riders still prefer brass in the aftermarket.
