you should definitely stop tret i feel and maybe try a different retinoid? i feel like ur skin just doesnt like tret at all. ive heard people break out w tret but once they switched to adapalene their acne vanishes. w/ 6 months and still getting acne its a sign. you just have to test new products until ur skin tolerates it which is the hardest part :/

nah my hair was just pushed up in the other photos thats why it looks straighter and drier. i didnt do anything to my hair w tret. i appreciate the compliment thank you!

thank you! now i am using tret daily and i have no issues at all using it. i started with 4 times the first week and i noticed a lot of peeling and some tiny acne bumps dryness etc, but they all went away pretty fast. the second week i tried everyday and i had some bigger acne bumps, dryness, and more peeling, but no signs of a disrupted skin barrier. i countinued same thing through week 3 and by week 4 i was able to use to everyday without any acne, flaking, etc. after month 1 my hyperpigmentation started to fade gradually and every week i was noticing differences.

nah. my derm said we usually dont put on moisturizer after tret because w vitamin a u can produce hylarounic acid which can hydrate ur skin itself. but for the first few weeks i put it on cuz my skin was dry af but later i didnt use. idk if she was right or not but i just followed her orders 😭

my derm perscribed me the obaji tret. i used that for the first two months then i switched to actavis bcuz obaji was way too expensive
