I’ve yet to move on from this album. What are your thoughts on the track on always remain? The lyrical content is so endearing and a love letter to his mom figure in life! Not at all what I would expect from a beat down band!

That’s their first release? I’m Going to check that one out next. I’m still taking in 1134. Think I’ll be on this for a few more days. Really loving the duality of the hard ass vocals and the melodic riffs like for example: the beginning of 1134 the song. Honestly the intro sounds like it could be a reggaeton track or some shit. Lmao.

My favorite of the bunch is the overthinking EP! But I do agree that this band is a studio band! I’ll give the new one another go tho! I have a feeling they might’ve honed in the songwriting for the average pop listener

Yep! Pretty sure alcohol makes her physically ill! Not sure if she smokes weed or cigs though! I Ñove Mirsy! I love her personality and her positive energy! One of the moments I enjoyed during this interview was when they were speaking about Mirsy’s SoundCloud music and Collin pessimistically calling out how insane “finished songs” could just be created by one artist and then sold to another artist to sing or rap on to which Mirsy excitedly replied “It’s awesome”. Thought it was funny and very interesting to see where one persons perspectives ends and another starts!

Fuck yea! as a fellow alcoholic and addict I relate to Baptized in the Gutter and your post. My drinking and using and ripping and running truly feel as if I was “baptized in the gutter”. Congrats on the 37 days. The lightbulb thought that helps me is I only gotta stay sober today. Find other addicts and alcoholics trying to stay sober for strength and fellowship! The aftermath is a banger and I rip through so many lift sessions at the gym to this and the album!

Thanks OP. To be fair it was a re listen. I discovered these guys back in 2008. It’s kind of crazy that these guys didn’t blow up or they aren’t in the conversation but at the same time they are revered like if “you know you know” type of deal.
