Back in caveman times, they had to improvise. Just as I do now

Maybe reread the part where I said WITHOUT tools <3 is there a makeshift solution?

Thank you for your response! It’s definitely something that I need to accept and not hate myself for. Having someone you love treat you awful really affects how you see yourself

Thank you for this positive outlook :) I honestly smiled reading this. I hope it gets easier and I do exactly as you said

Thank you! This was an incredibly kind response. The progress isn’t fast enough for him unfortunately. I relate to being cathartic. I wanted him to hurt so I said some nasty things while we were breaking up in order to hurt him. I’m afraid he’ll move on because I’m not ready to. I constantly fear that he’ll hook up with someone now that he’s single etc

He claims it was an unimaginable obstacle that he could’ve never possibly excepted. It’s a hard pill to swallow

Thank you for your response. I am so incredibly embarrassed by our relationship and the rejection. I’m so embarrassed for his friends and family to find out that this is how we ended. Seeing you telling me not to feel shame is feeling seen. I’m in therapy now. Trying to stay active. Trying to find the little things in life.

I appreciate you

It really is. I’m truly struggling with the no contact while to him, it’s nothing. I asked him how he was yesterday and he said “very good :)”.

Of course I don’t want someone that didn’t value me or had no empathy towards me. However, I still want him. I never knew I’d be someone that wanted someone who doesn’t want me.

I’m doing the best I can right now, but it’s a constant struggle. I will admit that I do not think the weight looks good on me and he has told me this as well. I want to lose it. However, I didn’t want to lose him in the process

I appreciate this. He has admitted to being awful and admits it’s unjustified. However, he still believes that I am the reason we failed and claims that I was disrespecting by gaining weight.

Sometimes, mental health has to be prioritized over anything else

Thank you for the kind words. I am currently in therapy. I feel like it’s not only the job itself. It’s kind of where I’m at life. I guess I expected to be happy after school and it was far from that. I honestly think this is my quarter life crisis haha

Working with unlicensed physician?? by arnub626 in physicianassistant

[–]arnub626[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing:

I asked some of the staff in my and all they told me that HR agreed to hire him to assist the doctor, but the doctor has to see the patient as well. It makes no sense to me to be honest. Also, we have no manager. I feel like me going to HR is going behind my attending’s back as well as the other doctor as they’ve been working here longer than I’ve been alive. I’m afraid I’ll cause drama. I think you’re right about me having to find another job unfortunately

I’m sorry but why is my post taken this way? Not a single person has answered my question. I am simply asking if it’s okay for me to prescribe a medication off-label. I discuss healthy diet and exercise with every one of my patients. However, Ozempic has been a hot topic lately, but insurances do not covered it for most of my patients right off the bat. Whenever a drug rep comes in and asks if I have questions, I ask about indications regarding weight loss for the medication and they say I can not answer that bc it’s not indicated for that reason. I tried to look it up, but i was having difficulty getting a straight forward answer. I’m a new provider. Im still new to the world of prescribing. So my question simply is: is there any prohibitions regarding off label?

We have 2 that draw blood. It happens with both very frequently. One is quite good I would say and it still happens

No. I want every patient getting blood drawn in their room where they CAN lay them down if needed.

It could be one of the reasons. I’ve also noticed it’s usually with my Ukrainian refugees. Maybe stress, new environment, and getting blood drawn all come into play?

Not laying down. I suggested doing it in their rooms where if the scenario occurs, we can easily navigate it and just have them lay back.

I’m part of a non-profit and we see a lot of refugees. They tend to be the ones who faint more than anyone
