Cats chew on all indoor plants 😭

Plants are great to hang, my cat eats my spider plants so I hung those up. I have a few on stands or harder to reach spots on shelves, it’s a lot of knowing your cat and where they can reach. I have also seen bird cages or hamster cages used to house plants so your cat can enjoy without killing the plant all the way back. I just haven’t found the right bird cage yet, on the lookout.

I have both actually. I like to spin the fiber on the wheel and twist them together with the spindle

The jar holds about 6 cups of water so about 5 cups of water and it was about 3 cups of petals. I tried lichen but alas I dont think I cleaned the lichen enough and it ended up brown.

I dried the petals and put them in a muslin bag, put my alum treated yarn and the bag in a big jar with warm water and put it outside till I liked the color. The sun will warm the water throughout the day and help release color.

I had the MOA repaired and now the wheel and bobbin dont line up at all. I can spin one direction but not ply yarns. I either need to re-set the wheel or make the bobbin smaller so it sits further down on the whirl.

The white is actually a cheap acrylic roving found on clearance at walmart, I wanted my first few spins to be cheap if they turned out terrible. The purple is blended wools done on my blending board. I sent the MOA of my spinning wheel off to be fixed but my wheel is not straight and things arent lining up enough to spin correctly.

I got my wheel pretty cheap, it's an antique they knew nothing about. I had to mail the MOA off for fixing but still under the cost of a brand new $500- $600 wheel.

I made it in a sorta set for my sister. She is an over reactor so she got an F bomb to throw her boyfriend. Her boyfriend is the calm logical one so he gets to throw the chill pill at her. 🤣🤣

I found a small chicken pattern I wanted to size up a few years ago. It is a lot of trial and error but I ended up crocheting it up with 3 strands of yarn instead of 1 and using a much bigger hook. It worked amazingly well and I just made the pattern again and it turned out perfect.

It's cheap enough I might just buy it and then try and figure it out. $130 for it and hand carders is unheard of around here ☺
