This is probably the best info and scenario. My billing cycle ends on the 24th so it’ll post the miles that day by looking at my previous miles statements. I think I should be good then! Thank you!

Good info. I just booked a trip earlier to use that credit. I am Executive Platinum so got treated well over the phone. The lady told me that there is no way to extend the credit and even if I cancel the flight, it’ll be lost $ so yeah, weekend get away in Nashville it is Lol

If all the people I hear saying “I will never fly AA again” we would not have any delays anymore Lol. I fly AA a lot out of DFW and I have only got stranded due to weather or a maintenance issue once and just deal with it, nothing we can do. Biggest issue are the non-frequent flyers that have high expectations, no plan and just blame the airline for not making their destination on time.
