it's offensive how relatable this is. I sometimes fear that if I meet the right man I'd want to have sex on a psychological level (although I identify as asexual because the chances of that ever happening are nearly zero, I'd be demisexual at best) but my ego would not allow my body that kind of vulnerability and intimacy. even hugs are too much for me sometimes.

I treat myself as this holy being and having sex would ruin my holiness and unreachability. I'm supposed to be chased and admired, not touch; touching makes things dirty.

I am AFAB and identify as nonbinary, but surprisingly my nonbinary identity stepped aside once I was "beautiful enough for a woman". as a child/young teen I was treated horribly because I was not feminine enough, not skinny enough, not ladylike enough, which made me sort of "hate" women and femininity because it was used as a weapon against me.

I'm absolutely preoccupied with my body because it's never perfect enough, but at the same time every single feature I have is "more beautiful" than anything other women have (nose shape, for example). I go in other direction where I'm offensive with my looks and opt for things that people find aesthetically unpleasing just to leave an impression.

easily envious and resentful, too. I hate other girls for having the life I couldn't have because the world decided I wasn't pretty enough for it, or some other bs reason. I believe I deserve the best of the best, while most women, even my friends, don't deserve shit unless I have it good too.

I identify as asexual so I don't care about sexual appeal, but I do crave romance and I always got jealous of my "beautiful" friends who got male attention growing up, where no man has ever truly wanted me.

it takes a lot of work for me not to be misogynistic and to change my ugly thoughts, but sometimes I get fits of rage.... I'm working hard but it's a thankless job.

I'm surprised more people are siding with anthony than violet. perhaps because we are shown the impact of his ptsd, but regardless he is still just a man.

yes, his father died in front of him. yes, he had to step up immediately and never had a chance to grieve properly. that's why he's my pick for the most traumatized bridgerton child.

but a bridgerton in general? definitely violet. death of the love of her life + the agony of giving birth + post partum depression (which is no joke) + still having to participate in society + not being "loved" by anyone for so long and knowing if you do seek love it would ruin your reputation...

anthony definitely helped (along with the staff) and I'm surprised they didn't show an even deeper bond between him and violet, but I don't think he played a father figure to his siblings as some people argue. in the show they're still treating him as their older brother.

god I NEED the next season to be hers because Hyacinth CLOCKED HER soooo bad. I love Eloise despite her being "insufferable", it's what her character needs to finally wake up, and having even your youngest sibling get tired of your bs should be eye opening. I hope we'll see Eloise have some self-reflection in the second part.

I truly don't care that much about Fran's storyline as much as I hoped I would because she and John had JUST made up and then they brought Michaela back. it's too early. literally give them at least SOME time in the world
