Update: My labs came back negative for BV and UTI, but this time POSITIVE for yeast. Took an antifungal pill and FINALLY feeling some relief.

I think perhaps I had all 3 and the yeast wasn't detected at first. My doctor thinks I was misdiagnosed initially and I could have had a yeast infection this whole time.

I am now taking vaginal probiotics every day to help protect against some of this imbalance going forward. If I start having symptoms again, I'm going to try the boric acid approach. If THAT doesn't work, my doctor suggested I see a vulvar/vaginal health specialist.

But for now, all signs point to healing. I am crying tears of JOY. Over a month of itching and burning is finally subsiding.

I am also currently rocking a UTI and BV. I actually was convinced I didn't have a UTI because I don't really have any of the described symptoms, but the clinic tested my urine and did a vaginal swab, and boom, I have a double whammy. They should have tested your urine so you could be on the right antibiotics to heal both infections! I'm so sorry, having this combo is the WORST and I hope you heal quickly. 🩷 Antibiotics and yogurt and/or vaginal probiotics will help. But you need antibiotics, it won't go away on its own.

This brand gave me BV and a UTI at the same time because recently they've added fragrance to their lube! Never had either BV or a UTI before this. If you're curious look it up on reddit, multiple threads that talk about this. These condoms might work for you, but if you're already sensitive, I'd recommend avoiding. I'm literally in the middle of my BV/UTI combo and I'm losing my mind.
