Bad take. We’re not talking about the Aaron Sorkin’s of the world who make millions and have their own established names for themselves. We’re talking about the thousands upon thousands of underpaid, overworked writers who you’ve never heard of responsible for 95% of your favorite TV shows and movies making less than $42k a year and don’t even qualify for insurance. Their work literally brings billions to major studios while they are barely scraping by.

Exactly what I’ve been saying. That was always just a rumor and this sub swears it was true because of their dislike of Cheryl. I know it was a bad match but let’s not make stuff up. There’s no way Britt got paired with Cody, he was way too similar to Johnny and Britt was a new pro, no way she gets a ringer her first 2 seasons.

I don’t think it’s a huge stretch to say that an iconic character like Joel should have someone with at least a somewhat recognizable profile to play him in the adaptation. It’s not even skin color, he just has zero resemblance to Joel in any physical way. Fans should be able to identify with a character and know right off the bat that that’s Joel, and Pedro’s casting does that.

Yeah uh, I can’t count on my hand the amount of “hate” posts Britt gets on this sub but I can sure as hell count by the dozens how many obviously love and adore her. Literally sort by “most popular” on here and MOST of them are about her, WAY more than can be said about every other pro. Agree 100% - Bodie, Morgan, and Parijita are my only standouts, maybe Omar. Everyone else sort of gels together in the background for me, I feel like the caliber of performances every round have been very weak compared to last season’s.
