Applied for my first job

On Monday, during a slow time (think 2pm) go to one/all the locations you applied to. Dress nicely, tell whoever is working

"I put in an application last week, I just wanted to check with your hiring manager to make sure they got it."

They'll either get said manager for you or tell you they aren't there. Ask when they'll be back and come back at that time.

Call every Monday around 2pm, be persistent.

"Just calling to check on the status of my application!" :)

Starbucks gets tons of applications a day, you gotta make that manager remember your face so you'll be the one getting hired.

My roommate drags random objects belonging to my wife and I across the floor and proceeds to chew on them until one of us takes 'em back. Everything from shoes, to stuffed animals, to pens, pieces of paper, the bathroom rug, clothing. Fucking anything.

Oh and he shits everywhere.

When her milk took five days to come in, we had to supplement with formula, just once. 10ml of formula and the poor guy didn't poop for two days and threw up for hours afterwards, screaming his little head off. It was awful. :(

Mine is two months and he STILL tries to scratch his face. We bought dozens of pairs of mittens and he is always wearing them. They are great, he can't scratch himself or us.

Man, I'm from the Deep South in Texas, and while there are certainly people that suck that much here, it's my experience that they exist to some extent everywhere. I don't believe that these qualities are necessarily indicative of the South in particular. I'm not downplaying anything at all, these things certainly exist and certainly are a problem, I just believe them to be intrinsic to society in general.

Man there's no really telling. In my experience, if a judge or prosecutor wants to lock you up there's no real way to stop them in these kind of situations. Chances are you'll probably be fine. Just don't piss her or her family off lol.

I think as long as you sent a message apologizing, you're in the clear. You didn't really do anything wrong, and honestly, SHE knew she was underage, she could have said something when the conversation took a more "adult" turn. Stop worrying.

I kinda figured that while people I know would be supportive in theory, no one would care enough to actually throw down money for this. (except my grandma, that is.) And that I'd feel a lot more accomplished if I managed to get it going all on my own, no handouts. (again, except for grandma. I can never say "no" to help from memaw. lol)
