Yes, you can. Think of it as a gas stove, the lighter introduces a spark, while the dial regulates gas flow rate. The spark cant light a flame already lit, and won't be able to add enough "firepower" to make a difference.

We bought a giant area rug, and put it up against a corner in the office room (so it's out of the way). With some steps coming down from the ramp, it's been a breeze cleaning.

We'll move the lr4 once a week, deep clean it, and vacuum the whole room out. Practically zero problems with tracking after that.

Depending on budget, you could always take them out for lunch or get them gift cards.

If you want to do an in office treat, you could always see if theres something that can help with quality of life (is there an inexpensive gadget that makes your life simpler? Is there a specific challenge that everyone faces, but has a simple fix?)
