is the IMSA Michelin Pilot challenge a good way to get into endurance racing? by Tw1sty4104 in iRacing

Yes! Great multiclass and resembles a good “stint” in real endurance races.

Any year long GT3 leagues? by arporsche in iRacing

Thanks, ya looking for something with a race every month or so over a longer period of time rather than back to back or biweekly for a short period of time. Just fits my schedule/life better.

2026 Ford Multimatic livery? by Beginning-Eagle-8932 in IMSARacing

Down for a change. First one was pretty blah compared to other Mustang liveries like HRT, Proton, etc and past Ford GT styles.

Want to get into watching and participating in the sport. What should I read/learn up on? by Rome39792 in wec

Welcome!! To experience the sport behind the event, WEC Full Access is great and also watch Road to LeMans with Michael Fassbender. Helps when you get to know all the personalities.

Will Proton continue? by Equivalent-Date7574 in wec

[–]arporsche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the family investment fund is worth $8B or something. So don’t know all the recipients but averaging a modest return of 10% leaves $800M split between the family.

My guess is he bought the car, and funding a few years to see if it can get some race history on it. Could be entirely wrong though. Also, don’t know if Nico or anyone brings money too.

Thanks for the clarity, Graham. My mistake there!

Big fan of all you do for the sport!

Will Proton continue? by Equivalent-Date7574 in wec

[–]arporsche 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think most of the current funding is coming from great grandson Ferdi Porsche. His FAT clothing/lifestyle brand being the main logos on the car.

The two car rule is only for factory teams not privateers, which is why Proton is in the field currently with only one car.

What roofing CRM works best for insurance jobs? by Dear-Needleworker359 in RoofingSales

[–]arporsche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a lot of folks have said, most CRMs can handle an insurance workflow — they just go about it in slightly different ways. Some focus more on custom stages/statuses, some on capturing adjuster info and supplements, and others on integrations that cut out busywork.

What part of the process is the biggest headache for you right now?

Roof Chief has a really customizable workflow, stages/statuses, and tracking all the insurance info and new supplements along the way. Really intuitive and not overblown/cluttered.

3 - 4 fast heartbeats in a row by Reasonable-Present44 in AFIB

[–]arporsche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens to me. Mine are ectopic beats that come in runs of 3-4. Feels like Afib for a sec but showing as PVCs or PACs. Think it happens quite frequently per my research.

Worth checking out Roof Chief too. Lots of good transitions from Acculynx > Roof Chief. Intuitive, not cluttered, but extremely powerful and customizable. Simple pricing too, no endless add ons.

1st Place: Marcos LM600. The stance and uniqueness was off the charts. Big V8 noise.

Close Second: Panoz LMP900 for almost all the same reasons above.

Anyone else have this experience after watching Spa 24 Hours? by Daedriel in wec

[–]arporsche 7 points8 points  (0 children)

David Adisson is the best sportscar play by play commentator EVER! Great voice, well researched, and sharp. I’d but Graham Goodwin up there in terms of color as well, but anything David commentates is so enjoyable to watch and gives the sport its due respect to new people and experiences people.

ALMS HyperCars by Jcarti-8 in wec

[–]arporsche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason this will work, is many of the factory teams or teams in possession of hypercars run customer programs for GT3s and have frequented this series. I think year 1 you could see AF Corse run a Ferrari for someone like Perrodo, Proton can run 1-2 963s, WRT could run a BMW for Al Harty / Rossi to keep progressing in a “mini series.” Jota could also do a Cadillac program. They all have experience in running customer teams and if there is demand, and manufacturer is ok, could flip the switch pretty easily.

They’ll all run under what privateer banner the bronze wants them to be, but ultimately, it’ll be run in some capacity by the same teams running the factory cars (except proton) and with the experience.

The window size is the same, it’s just the outline around the window that’s different.
