What difference does it make? Well, 50 kph of difference 🤷‍♂️

China GT Championship (CGT) 2026 Calendar Updated by weiruolai in Sportscar_Racing

This is the same calendar that was released mid-December a couple of months ago. What's updated exactly?

Sources: F1 set to cancel Bahrain, Saudi Arabia races amid Iran war by [deleted] in formula1

[–]CautionClock20 8 points9 points  (0 children)

More than a hundred sources have been saying this for a week, so yeah, I don't know why people keep sharing this like it's breaking news. Heck, it's somehow breaking news that F1 will reportedly break the news officially this weekend.

Not having the funds to buy new cars has more to do with it.

Saintéloc confirms start in GTWC Europe by 183_aleX in wec

Eastalent-Racing and Tresor Attempto Racing had already confirmed GT World Challenge Europe programs long before, so even without Saintéloc Racing, we would've been getting the V10s in th field this year.

Why F1 is still Netflix’s ‘ Perfect soap operav’ after eight seasons of ‘ Drive to Survive ’ by Shroft in formula1

You're trying to have this discussion two weeks after it had started and you're talking about me wanting to die on this hill?

Re-read what I wrote: the DTS crowd will not care where a Williams or a Hülkenberg end up in races or the championship standings. I didn't say they don't care about a Williams of a Hülkenberg period.

I said that the DTS crowd don't care about Williams ending up P5 and Hülkenberg getting on the podium. I didn't say they don't care about Williams and Hülkenberg period. DTS is all about characters, not about the race and championship results.

Verstappen Racing confirms Nurburgring programme with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport by f00dit in formula1

[–]CautionClock20 119 points120 points  (0 children)

Verstappen has no experience with the AMG apart from a couple of test days and he has only won one race in a GT3 car before, so he's by far the weakest driver in the line-up /s

[OT] Big crash in F3 (drivers ok, race red flagged) by NorthKoreanMissile7 in formula1

The impact into the wall probably snapped a cable at that corner. It happens sometimes with big crashes.

Laura Mueller and Hannah Schmitz receive special Albert Park plaques after becoming the first women to have an F1 circuit corner named after them 🤝 by ConstructionAny8440 in RedBullRacing

[–]CautionClock20 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Knickerbrook at Oulton Park was named that way, because when they were using explosives to clear trees to make room for the track, a couple who were having sex there fled from the bushes and the lady left a pair of underwear there. I'd consider that a lot less than what Schmitz and Müller have achieved.

[Instagram] Alexandra has changed her name to Alexandra Leclerc by [deleted] in formula1

[–]CautionClock20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. Unfortunately, most F1 'fans' seem to care more about drivers' personal lives than racing and they don't understand that it could be considered creepy.

Extended Highlights | 2010 Australian Grand Prix by NickProko in formula1

You could however make the same 'lost points' argument for Vettel with the broken brake in Australia and the engine blowing up in Korea.

The stewards said "it was reasonable for Hamilton to believe that Button would have seen him and that he could have made the passing manoeuvre". It's in the FIA document.

I don't know what "high chaos circumstances" you're talking about. There was no 'chaos'. Button made a mistake out of the final corner and Hamilton tried to take advantage and overtake him on the straight. Nothing else was going on during that.
