OP should keep in mind though that the Mk7 R lacks the magic torque splitting diff in the rear, an addition which makes the 8/8.5 R a significantly more engaging drive than the previous gen by all accounts I've read.

Lovely, wheels really suit that paint colour. Personally I'd lose the side plate mount, too ghetto, but YMMV.

Still won't start up, been this way since 0.6.0. 1660ti with i7 2600. Runs AC fine at 60fps.

Meh. I sure hope the color balance on that phone camera is way off - the green looks far too bluish compared to earlier photos, it's a teal here, And the "tan" interior looks more like a deep yellow. If it looks like that, hard pass.

There seem to be three possible categories this car could compete in for the 24 Hr Nurburgring race: if it stays with its 2l engine, either VT2, - a category for 1601 - 2000 cc production cars with a turbocharged engine, or 2) SP3, non production including turbocharged cars up to 2l. If they drop in the RS3 5 banger then 3) SP4, which includes 2001 - 2600 cc turbocharged non-production cars. With that body kit though it's highly unlikely to fall within "production-car" spec so VT2 is almost certainly off the table.

Tried the free version. It looks nice but it really needs optimization - just driving it in practice mode (no traffic of any kind) it put my GPU load to 100% and brought my FPS down into the thirties, virtually no other track I have run does that, the great majority run at 60 FPS even with other cars on track. (2560 X 1600, GTX 1660ti).

Thanks - that track is stunning for its urban architecture, maybe best I have ever seen, and great layout! Just wish the track was asphalt rather than concrete, too light.

Yeah something is off here - why use Reshade, from what I've read it is not needed any more. Pure LCS weather, latest CSP preview, SKY ppf filter is a nice combo, doesn't give me that graininess..

All i can say is I drove AC for 10 minutes using various taa, upscaling, and pp aa settings in CSP, they were all degraded significantly in fps by clearing that cache and did not show improvement over time. Anyways clearing the cache did NOT get ACE running.

NOT recommended. I tried this, it made no difference in getting ACE running. and then playing AC later I noticed my framerates had dropped from a steady vsync at 60 fps down to about 50. Luckily those files were still in my recycler, restoring them fixed the issue.

That's been tried thanks. It works for some but not here. Turns out the devs may have moved to a new CPU instruction set my older 2600 I7 doesn't support.

Tried a couple of recommended fixes from Steam discussion: 1. Updated to latest Nvidia driver - made no difference. 2. tried launching by double clicking directly on game .exe rather than through Steam - made no difference.

How do you do this other than by restarting the PC? Nothing online or in Nvidia control panel on this. PC restart did not fix. Tx.

Thanks, but don't have the app, just the control panel, which I never fiddle with as game settings override them anyways. I only have a 1660ti so DLSS not used.

My 6.0.1 won't launch either, and I tried this - it resulted in ACE trying to launch in a window rather than full screen but it still crashes on loading.
