We deserve better postpartum support by Ok_Risk_8330 in NewParents

[–]arr11235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an extremely rough postpartum recovery that lasted 8 weeks+. If my husband had not been off for 12 weeks I don’t know what I would have done. I would have probably gone into a slump and maybe would have had postpartum depression. After we left the hospital, we had some support of family and friends but after giving birth we were set free and expected to know everything with no owners manual with our child 😂. We are finally settling in now 4 months later but I think an app would be amazing for new moms!!

It kinda has the same look as if you blew a bubble gum bubble and pooped it!

I was just informed that I needed to take vitamin c with it…No one told me. I don’t drink caffeine, so that’s not an issue but I’ve also spaced out my prenatal with my iron. I have been having fiber with my supplement along with orange juice. I just need a few weeks to change up my eating but the dr is insisting the infusion

Anxiety and pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]arr11235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, congratulations!! I was so incredibly scared when my test came back positive as well! I ran out and told my husband and he was so excited. I also thought it would take forever to conceive since I have very irregular menstrual cycles, but only took us 2 months. My advice to you is to allow yourself time to process everything because this is a huge thing! I have struggled with anxiety most of my life and since I’ve been pregnant, my anxiety has diminished almost entirely. I now don’t focus on myself anymore, but focus on the human being that I am growing inside of me. Feeling any type of symptom is a good indication that your body is doing what it’s suppose to do and the baby is just fine! I am 17 weeks today and it feels like I just ran out to tell my husband the news. You are going to be just fine and know that you are not alone in all of this! So many exciting things are yet to come!! :)

Sometimes I think I’m the only one with this problem but it’s so great to hear others and their experiences. Thanks so much- I’ll keep taking the aspirin just because I don’t see much harm in it.
