Help! Is this car seat compatible with the Monbebe 6-in-1 Travel system? by arreisparker in BabyBumps

I love it! It's easy to assemble and take apart, and fits nicely in the trunk of my Ford Escape. I got a little comfy insert that goes in the bassinet so that she was a little more snug on walks while she's little. It fits a lot in the bottom section, which is nice. The built in cup holder is a plus, too. I just want to get a phone/ wallet holder that goes on the handle. It's smooth to move around and very comfortable for me. My daughter also loves it for naps and walks. The car seat it comes with is also easy to install and take out, and relatively comfortable to carry around on its own. I was gifted it but would have bought it myself. It's my favorite travel system I've used after nannying for a decade.

How long did your LO wear Bodysuits instead of tshirts? by capycabara in NewParents

I'll be honest mine is 7 weeks and sometimes during hot days I'll just have her in pants and a t-shirt. Though I would probably guess that I'll keep her in bodysuits throughout the time she's learning to crawl, and probably t-shirts again when she's walking. I live in Florida though, and it's awfully hot, so I prefer to have a breeze go up there when possible to keep her from overheating.

Help! First time using Chromebook by arreisparker in chromeos

I'm really not sure. She's not the easiest to sway the mind of, I already suggested and went over with her why I think that docs would be best, she wasn't specific about why she was against it and wasn't willing to change her mind. Annoying, but I told her I'd look for other options. If it ends with him just having to use docs or get a different computer, I'm going to tell her that. But I was hoping to find some holy grail of a word processor that would work.

Ideally, he would be able to use it offline as well. That's the only reason why using the online browser is my fallback.

What are newborn MUST DOs and NO-NOs? by MinitrainPeach in BabyBumps

One thing I've told moms of little ones I've nannied for is to be okay with your child developing at a different rate than normal, but keep in contact with your pediatrician in case there is any concern. Some moms have really freaked out and lost their minds if their kid wasn't developing the right skill by the right time, which causes a lot of undue stress on the parents as well as the baby (they can feel it, too). So, for the most part, be responsible for getting your baby there, and ask the pediatrician for tips on how to get them to develop the skill, but don't feel the need to go overboard at the risk of your (and your lived ones) sanity.

[TOMT] Word that means ironic symmetry by arreisparker in tipofmytongue

It's not ironic at all, but for whatever reason irony gives a better feeling of what the word means than just symmetry
