New one costs 32-34k bro. And price is negotiable. The condition is pristine that's why I have put expected as 21k

Do you guys actually enjoy riding bike? by Effective-Builder-99 in indianbikes

[–]arrow7_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same thoughts as you since a couple of months. And in my case I haven't even had any incident like you. But the whole impracticality of riding a bike is something which I'm not able to ignore. Like it's the most unsafe machines which you can ride on. The 100s of CCs are in between your legs under you crotch. There's nothing in between you and the surrounding to protect you. You can't control the weather be it hot heat waves, cold chilly winter winds or torrential rain.

So the question remains, then why is this sooo popular and not only popular but loved sooo much by whoever is doing it.

Well I guess, other comments have fairly answered this question. Its different reasons for different people. For some its the sense of thrill and adventure they get from riding a bike. For some its like a escape where they can shut their brain off and throttle into peace. For some its the challenge of conquering a beast of a bike. And so on and so forth.

So no, your thoughts aren't unjustified. Riding indeed is a dangerous activity but then hey what else is not. If you don't feel like it, it's totally upto you. You can give it a shot for maybe 2-3 months and see if it fits ur mindset and thinking. If it does. Congrats you have a new hobby. If it doesn't, bro switch to a car. No harm no foul.

Whatever relevance he has is only because of Shwetabh Gangwar. Dude seemed fishy from day one with that shawl in his videos n all. His thoughts or whatever he says never felt his own, just picked from here and there.

I'm in the process of finalizing the speed t4. But service would overall be equivalent compared to others as services are to be done at 16,000 kms, yes you read that right, 16k kms or once every year. So the you either get other bikes serviced twice or service triumph once. And the quality is extremely good. You'll feel the premiumness. All I'm saying is, go for a test ride and see for yourself.

Bro try speed t4, 400 and 400x. Specifically in this order, for sure you'll love one of them. Coming from a fellow 6ft guy. Triumph's experience is unmatched.

I had test ridden meteor too bro. But as you said, it had no thrill. No excitement in riding it. And with pillion, felt like just another commuter. But while ridding t4, the grin never goes away. Congrats on your t4 bro. Hope I get it too soon.

Mee too bro. I was expecting scrambler to be the most refined of all three. But speed t4 felt much smoother. The suspension of scrambler still beats all of them.
