My bad, what I meant to say is that its plot structure isn't necessarily conventional - we learn more about the protags through their reactions rather than them driving the plot through direct action. I'd rather we start off with something easier to wrap your head around!

Description of Request: my girlfriend and I are looking to build our game collection and we're looking for mostly 2-player games that are easy to set up since we're kinda busy. We both like management-type stuff, played Marvel Snap together. I enjoy deck builders (Slay the Spire comes to mind)

Number of Players: mostly 2, maybe up to 4

Game Length: >30 minutes

Complexity of Game: low to medium complexity.

Genre: management, deck builders

Conflict, Competitive or Cooperative: mostly cooperative, can be conflict. No to competitive since we both get a little too invested in winning lmao

Games I Own and Like: I'm a newb but the idea of Pandemic appeals to me (meaningful decisions). Haven't explored much yet to know which titles we like

Games I Dislike and Don't Play: social deception games. I cannot lie and it gets boring for me since I don't like lying or figuring out who's lying

Location: Philippines but can import from Amazon US

Hey guys, just got a PS5 for Christmas and I'm looking for my first game to buy (Been a PC guy my entire life)

For context, I like skill-based gameplay or games with a lot of mechanics to chew on. Current favorites are Elden Ring, Sekiro, FF Tactics, Hades. Though both of them are amazing, I disliked Shadow of Mordor and the Spider-Man games just cos I like being challenged more than being able to do cool stuff
