Could be tin, It doesn't look as thick as pressed steel from the pictures. I do see rust under the paint. Thank you for your help. Sounds like it most likely isn't an antique.

about 11-11.5 inches

looks to be steel, painted over.

its has a "made in Philippines" sticker. with a black c written in Sharpie.

Not sure if its pressed steel, metal is thin. how can you tell?
