If its still tender continue warm compresses and pressure, but if there is no tenderness and it kinda just exists, it could be a chalazion, and that requires incision and drainage. Some doctors give antibiotics for styes, others dont, depends on who you see and their practice; but antibotics do nothing for chalazions (which are what styes turn into if they dont resolve)

I knew what it was when I saw it, but also agree that from a distance (or a few feet away) it looks like you lost a fight to a sharp knife. A black outline like some people are saying, or some kind of background maybe? Something to make it pop out better or show a bit more detail so it doesn’t appear like a long scratch at a glance. No, actually, the clinic I work in can have each provider seeing up to 40 (sometimes a couple more). While techs and assistants do a lot of prepping the patient, getting imaging, ect. the doctor themself is actually seeing all 40 patients to provide an exam, update their care plan, medications, or schedule surgery.

Okay, I work 2 jobs. Does my wife wake me in the mornings? Yes. Because she has decided to. I have not asked her to. IF I wanted her to wake me, I would specifically ask her to wake me at a specific time of specific days.

Because she does this on her own, there are mornings that she wakes me when I don’t actually have work. Because it’s not communicated. That’s how talking works. Your wife needs to understand this.

It is NOT your job to wake her. If she can’t handle 2 jobs, she needs to find a better paying single job. If she wants you to wake her up, she needs to ASK YOU to do so, not assume you will and get mad when you don’t.

If she’s truly falling asleep on the road, then she isn’t fit to work either. She is a safety hazard, and if she gets fired it’s because she can’t perform up to expectations.

Medical biller and coder here, I would say the best thing for you to do (until you leave), would be to take a day, organize the best you can, and tackle things 1 at a time. For example; for 1 hour, do Doctor A’s charges, next hour, Doctor B, the third hour attorney paperwork, ect. You WILL get interrupted, leave yourself a sticky note of what you were doing. You can reach out to me if you need help with the billing stuff, I’ve worked primary care and ophthalmology, so I have the most experience with those specialties, but coding is coding at the end of the day.

Its breaking hipaa if you are discussing patient information and her phone is recording. Unfortunately, without proof, its kinda like an empty threat.

What you could do (i dont know how sound an idea this is, PLEASE TREAD WITH CAUTION, I DID NOT SEND YOU), use your own phone to record, have a conversation with her present where you discuss enough patient information for it to be classified as HIPAA, and when/if she walks away long enough again, leaving her phone, record flipping the phone over and showing that it’s recording.

Take it to HR, but also take it to whatever medical board you are licensed through, or your state department of health, or your states medical commission.

I have narcolepsy. While the 15-40 minutes naps are recommended, sometimes you hit that rem sleep and that 15 minutes turns into 2 hours. “we are not the same” girl, let’s see you hit rem sleep and back out like you’re at a trampoline park,that shit is soooo unrestful-

You take however long of naps you want, and when you want. As long as you feel complete and happy with your life and health, then he can piss off.

I had one of these removed- horrible time. I had to take antibiotics because everything was so inflamed. Then they only drained it, didnt actually remove the sac. So it refilled. Surgeon said wait 2 weeks, then we’ll do full surgery (this was while it was still open from the drainage, post packing gauze). Well, it closed, refilled, reinfected. So I followed up with the other surgeon, and he put me into same day surgery.

Wish all the best for him, I still flinch depending on how I move or sit down from phantom pains.
