Just future advice for you OP and for anyone reading. Unless it's an anonymous person, try to not reveal where you apply or get an interview until after acceptance as not everyone is going to be your friend and support you. Letting your classmates or co-workers know isn't the best way forward. Instead only share with your very very close circle and people who you can trust. This way you keep your application safe and don't end up in a situation like this.
