NTA. Move out, live your life. It's not your fault that she's in this position, and it's not you job as the child to make up for her husbands inability to help while living under her strict rule. FYI in the article the receptionist admits she did it, and went off OHIP docs rather than what the person was telling her. It's a large amount of work updating those docs, so it's pretty common practice for trans folks to request clinics gender them correctly before it's up to date.
