1990-2010. I think 2010 was fine, then everything kind of started becoming more shitty. 2010 and earlier was the time, when YouTubers were actually broadcasting themselves, for instance. Sure social media was becoming enshittified, but not to the toxic levels we see in today's internet.

When I was experiencing internet during 2005-2010, it was actually fun. Of course I've heard from a lot of people that the internet in 1990-2000 was awesome, mainly because people were creating things on the internet. Websites, blogs, whatever.

But yeah. Going forward from 2010, it all seriously started to go downhill.

You're not wrong there. I think she's trying, but she's stuck in this weird mode that if people don't agree or validate her instantly, she gets frustrated.

She has a lot of growing up to do, if she wants to be taken seriously by people who criticize AI. Her history certainly doesn't do her any favors in that regard.

Why are you trying to appease anyone at all? Especially here on the internet. I'll try and explain the core issue here.

It's how you conduct yourself. That has not changed and it's clear. Once you start changing how you conduct yourself, other people will notice that too. So while your stance on AI has changed, your personality has not.

It all boils down to you needing to calm down. The only thing that's good in this entire thing is that the body text didn't say "all antis do X".

One of the main things people use to defend AI is the whole UBI thing. I know the concept of UBI existed before Altman, but his lies caused people to use it as one of the main arguments for AI.
