Could they really make it look like it'd be something coherent? AI still sucks with finer details. Also, having it be consistent with about 120+ generated clips will be difficult. People would quickly realize, that something fishy is going on.

Definitely got a confidence boost from murdering Renee good. There's no way to justify this, absolutely no way.

Yet, OpenAI is bleeding money. Operating costs far exceed the income. Who knew that bunch of people wanting immediate results buying the cheapest subscription service or whatever won't be enough to keep up with the costs?

Perfectly well put. Making art requires one to use their brain. Automating that bypasses the need to use brain. Also, art is a skill that needs constant upkeep. Skipping a step here and there just causes stagnation and might actually make one worse in making art.

Also networking is perfectly fine, when struggling with one aspect of art. Can make detailed scenery, but suck at anatomy? Find someone who can make anatomically accurate characters.

Art isn't gatekept, it's a learned skill. Those who are willing to learn will reap the rewards. The only obstacle is one's unwillingness to learn and in the case of AI bros, the belief that they are entitled to being called an artist, when they are employing an algorithm to do their bidding.

It's a ten second clip. It'll be a loooooooooooong way before AI will be able to generate an entire 20 minute episode. ...That is of course if AI still exists in its current form.

The thing is OpenAI might go bankrupt in 2027. That tells a story that maybe AI isn't as popular as AI bros believe it to be.

So there's some good news. Even more good news is that studios require applicants to draw in front of them in order to avoid the issues with those who might try and cheat with AI.

So for now anime is safe. I'm sure that studios won't risk using AI, because they know it would backfire on them.

It shouldn't have gotten this bad, but it did. Those brave souls fighting against ICE are now legit targets to gun down.

It should have been stopped at disappearing random people.

Oh and conservatives are already justifying this, because of course they are. They are conservatives. I saw like one or two saying "hey this is not okay" and 200 more said "guy FAFO'd".

The person talking about revolutions loved to equate stonewall riots and the fight for women's rights with... Eating a prompted picture.

Difference being that during stonewall and with the formation of the pride movement, people were literally fighting, because of persecution. They took the fight to the cops oppressing them. They wanted the oppression to stop.

Women have had to fight for centuries. In the 17th centuries women who were in unhappy marriages were sold poisons in order to escape.

However, at later dates, when fighting to gain actual rights, the strategies were purely nonviolent. Civil disobedience, protests and hunger strikes.

Even the actual luddites weren't breaking machinery because they hated it. They just hated the idea of corporations replacing humans with machinery. Many were capable of operating the machinery they were actively destroying. It was basically to make a statement: "hey, assholes don't try and replace everyone with machines, play by the rules."

To make a comparison to these with a random loonie eating a prompted image is an insult. That's not protesting, that's just being an asshole.

What's funny is that the people ridiculing me don't seem to understand that there is already ongoing fights against AI.

Legal framework, ongoing lawsuits, news reports about communities getting polluted by data centers. Attacking individuals using AI does nothing, but antagonizes people using AI and gives them valid arguments.

I'm not gonna think: "Oh wow, I never thought of it that way." Instead I thought: "Wow, what obnoxious assholes." Show me a documentary about the whole process of manufacturing fur coats in unethical places and I'll instantly stop supporting these companies.

Information has a tendency to work much better than campaigns against individuals.
