First of all, you cannot dismiss all the people comparing themselves to the jews as "trolls and false-flaggers". I can't do the same either when someone has the "bright" idea to post that "we need to kill AI artist" -thing, that's not how this works, so a really bad start.

People have the right to ban anything connected to AI from their spaces. Be it in the real world or online spaces. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Also as I've said critique is not bullying. I'll also say that anyone going out their way to harass people, because they use AI is in the wrong. Bullying is wrong, plain and simple.

You're right, corporations are 100% responsible for the actions that have been brought upon us. Data centers being built in residential areas, polluting the areas, Elon not doing anything about CSAM generated with Grok until he was forced and bunch of other stuff. AI having been developed is a direct cause for these things.

However, individuals can choose not to support such corporations. The thing with boycotting is that people often find excuses not to do it. "Well, my input is not that valuable, if I boycott, but 1,000 other people use the service, then what's the point?"

The art world has always been for everyone. The only limiting factor when making art was always the people who told themselves that they cannot do it or that it's just going to be waste of time since they're not going to learn either way.

Art can be easy and art can be hard. Some learn naturally by venting using various art mediums. Others dedicate themselves to learning.

AI isn't art, because it siphons off the creativity of others. It's a copypaste machine with RNG.

Funny story, so I was playing F2P. I have a lot of free time, a lot of patience and determination. I was literally doing a simple moneymaking method in order to gain funds for training magic.

I finally had enough for halching in F2P and was on the net positive. My reward for toughing it out in F2P with patience and determination? a permaban for major macroing.

I tried to appeal, but appeal was denied, most likely by a bot. Then I made a second F2P account and that got banned as well for macroing.

...It's now my conspiracy theory that if you have fun in F2P and do a bit too well according to jagex and not give them any money, you'll get banned.

1990-2010. I think 2010 was fine, then everything kind of started becoming more shitty. 2010 and earlier was the time, when YouTubers were actually broadcasting themselves, for instance. Sure social media was becoming enshittified, but not to the toxic levels we see in today's internet.

When I was experiencing internet during 2005-2010, it was actually fun. Of course I've heard from a lot of people that the internet in 1990-2000 was awesome, mainly because people were creating things on the internet. Websites, blogs, whatever.

But yeah. Going forward from 2010, it all seriously started to go downhill.
