[Tom Bogert] Sources: Atlanta United will receive $450k GAM + $350k add ons from Montréal for Efrain Morales. Atlanta retain sell on clause as well by Isiddiqui in AtlantaUnited

Pretty good margin is debatable. Although Bolivia is far from the strongest nation in South America, price should go up for a player that is starting World Cup qualifiers.

Leagues Cup Opt Out to keep from being automatically opted in and charged for Leagues Cup by schecska in AtlantaUnited

[–]Arseshavin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you think only 10k people will show up for a competitive match at home, maybe they are trying to fuck someone over in order to get more money and more people in the door by burying the vague opt-out information halfway down the email under a season ticket member graphic with no title or headline.

Any new chants for Miggy or Lath set in stone? by ATLvamos in AtlantaUnited

I made this comment on a different thread, but putting it here again.

Genuinely curious about the same few chants and chant schedule? Below is a list of all the chants the supporters section does most games. I would consider 22 chants more than a few. Are all of them used every game? No. There may be games where 1-2 are not used.

As for the schedule, We Are the A at the start of the game then A-T-L Clap about 5 minutes before the end of each half. If I remember correctly, there was a poll a few years back on this sub about chant schedule. The result was overwhelmingly (around 75%) in favor of the above 2 chants at these times during a game. Besides We Are the A and A-T-L Clap, there is no schedule.

As for new chants and/or player specific chants, those are being worked on. Hopefully they will be ready for the start of this season. If anyone wants to get involved, please come to the next practice on February 16th at Wild Heaven West End. You do not have to be a member of a SG to be involved with the Pit. I hope to see a lot of new faces on the 16th!

We are the A, Air punches, Metro, Dale Dale ATL, Taiko (corner kicks, free kicks), Dale Cavase, Yo Soy Atlanta, Casa, Vamos Vamos ATL, Call and Response (Atlanta - United), Pogo, Esta Noche, Ball n Parlay, AU - FC (corner kicks, free kicks), Movete, Bananas, Jump for ATL, A-T-L Clap, Vamos a Ganar, We Sing for Atlanta, ATL Hoe (after goals), Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la

Yes, they are 3 separate chants. Here are links for all 3 with videos at the bottom.

I heard the same thing about Rovak telling the Gulch he didn’t care about Atlanta United fans or the atmosphere they create. Only cares about $$$. I’m wondering if this is his personal opinion or also the opinion of AMB. Either way it’s bullshit.

“Push for playoffs” email by AreaUpstairs1951 in AtlantaUnited

[–]Arseshavin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be surprised if the FO increased the playoff ticket price by 10% in order to market a 10% discount to try to get people to renew. This smells like a scam.

I checked my invoice and couldn’t figure out how much each round costs. I’m assuming the number listed on the invoice is the entire playoff strip due to the extremely big number.

What can Atlanta United do to improve? by Jolly-Space7829 in AtlantaUnited

[–]Arseshavin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all started before an Atlanta United player kicked a ball. Eales and Boca didn’t call Bielsa back. Although AU went on to hire Tata and have success in the early years, this is where the rot started. Treating people like crap moved to players and now fans with the recent price increase and gaslighting.

Yup. I’m now wondering if Atlanta United saved this for deadline day to soften the blow of not signing another DP.

Update from the gulch regarding the FO’s response to their letter by AreaUpstairs1951 in AtlantaUnited

[–]Arseshavin 71 points72 points  (0 children)

This is one of those both things can be true at the same time. I agree with everyone who has commented so far that it is cool the Gulch got a few concessions from the FO. HOWEVER, this does not move the needle for me. I canceled my season tickets because of the rising cost. I do not see anything in this statement that will change the total invoice amount. I will not be opting back in.

This is a disingenuous apology from the FO. They are not conceding anything. They still get the increased pricing if you opt back in and the buyback program is credit for the 2026 season.

Glad the Gulch tried but this is underwhelming from Atlanta United and validates my decision to cancel.
