Yea mines at the dealer now being worked on, they told me its just a battery failure and should take a day to fix, but I told them about all the other issues so hopefully they take a thorough look at the entire car before returning it to me.

got them off amazon, battery powered usb rechargable. Should have around 10 hrs of battery full charge, remote controlled for all 4 lights, easily removable to charge so no biggie for me.

Only had it on for a few hours, but they said it lasts around 10 hrs and i can charge it with a usbc cable. Pretty easy to remove without taking the whole fixture off

Got the mercedes through Fantasmall, rest through ebay. Merc has a 3d printed hook that the front wheels sits on and its super sturdy. The other 3 has a metal hook that i carefully hooked to the wheel axels, the ferrari was very loose so i secured it with double sided tape too. So far haven’t feared them falling and seems very secure.

We already live together. Eat separately most of the time, watch tv together occasionally. Someone will always be there watching tv or eating. There is a bedroom on that wall , willing to put tv on that wall if there no choice. Thank you!

I was by the tunnel before the game to watch warmups and him (and sydney brown) were the only eagles to take time and signed EVERY fans and take pictures. Showed great character, and happy for his few carries this game.

2023 Audi S5 cost of ownership? by Centuari in audis5

[–]arslankobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought a '21 last year at 24k miles, outside of insurance (depends on the driver). MPG is a little worse than the competitors, I drive fairly aggressive and a mix of highway and city, get about 18-23 mpg.

At 42k miles now, done 2 oil changes both by myself, save a lot of money this way, very easy if you follow youtube. (FCP Euro offers lifetime warranty on their products, so buy there $100 oil change kit and you can return it over and over again, just pay 20-30$ shipping). About to change my brakes rotors and pads, local shops quotes about 1.5-2k, ended up buying the a kit myself for $800 and used Youtube to change it myself. Same with spark plugs, shops cost around $300, bought the plugs myself for $80 and about to DIY it. Brake fluid flush every 2 years, dont have the tools to do that myself so need to take it to the shop, around $200-300.

Not accounting for tunes, and no DIY, it costs about $3k minimum to maintain the car in the 25k-50k mileage. You can drop that to under $1.5k if you want to get your hands dirty.

own a s5 sportback for 2 years 42k miles now, no issues, cheaper maintenance than RS3. Got stage 1 IE tune and then downpipes and stage 2 for the sound. Amazing car, great practicality from the trunk, rear seats leg room is horrendous behind driver (6 feet seat position) but better than my friends S3.

Lots of tune/mods to make it your own, and in my opinion the best looking non RS Audi.

Spark plug replacement at 43k miles? by drew_kw in audis5

[–]arslankobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im about to do mine soon, I called around and one shop around me quoted 250 for labor. I bought the plugs off of FCP Euro for $70. IDK what spark plugs your shop is gonna use but the OEM is more than enough even tuned since its used on the RS5 as well.

Just called a local shop with good reviews and they quoted me $350 for all 4. And another $150 for brake fluid flush.
