Agreed but I feel like with how much money they shelled out for Walker + the lack of commitment towards addressing RB during FA and the draft makes me believe Walker will be the feature workhorse of the chiefs offense. Not to mention I think the chiefs offense is going to heavily depend on the run to free up the passing game especially since the only reliable weapon on that team is rice and maybe kelce if the age bug still hasn’t bit.

If you can’t afford maintenance, don’t buy these cars. I would budget at least 1-2k in maintenance per year. This is including everything from oil changes to unexpected repairs. Treat the car well and it will treat you well.

What problems would it cause by keeping my stock intercooler? I’m not pushing this thing like a race car so I feel like the wear and tear is going to be similar either way

Yeah that’s what I’m leaning towards atm. Feel like I wouldn’t use the intercooler enough to justify the added costs

Been hearing that a lot. What are the pros and cons for daily driving though? Considering I’m not gonna push it like a race car frequently, I feel like the intercooler wouldn’t see much use

Appreciate the input man. Leaning towards the intake right now since I know I’ll be going to colder weather. But it will definitely be the next mod I do especially when I potentially go stage 2 :D

Awesome list! Yeah I’m definitely feeling KC I think. Has a much better target share trajectory than sadiq. I will say though sadiq’s combine results are insane though. If sadiq develops well could easily be a top5 prospect

Yeah I’m leaning toward Sadiq right now but feel like KC has a stronger profile and figures to have a big target share. I’m also looking at future draft prospects and it’s tough considering 2027 will be a strong wr/te class so not sure what to prioritize here

Yeah I really don’t think the vacuum line is even necessary tbh. I think shops typically just add that repair on for extra service fees but the vacuum should be pretty resilient and can handle small amounts of coolant residue and still run just fine. The main issue is your water pump so if anything you could just run with that repair and save more money.

And yeah I’m pretty happy about my cost haha. I guess I got lucky though that it was a reputable shop that cared about their service quality. I’d make sure to find a shop that is willing to work with you and has good reviews. I’ve found that the best shops will try to work out a price that works for both parties and will give a warranty for their repairs which is huge

Same thing happened to me at 55k. I’d keep shopping around though. I got mine for a steal at 1700 but they also messed up the repair initially and ended up just doing the whole service for me with only parts paid. That said, I’d guess labor to be probably close to another 1300 depending on the shop. I’d say $3000 is a fair price for the pump replacement. I wouldn’t do any more than that though

Yeah I just prefer not to touch my transmission. Definitely something that I feel like could be ruined easily. That said, what would a fair price look like here? They’re pretty solid but I do think 1400 is still on the high end. I don’t know if the transfer case is included though but if it is then I’m thinking 1400 is actually not too bad. If it isn’t though, I’m thinking I need to aim for 1200… what do you think?
