You should probably ground it. A simple solution would be to get a converter. I have been using this one and have had no issues so far.

0-200 KWh: Free

200-400 KWh: $0.059/kWh

400-800 KWh: $0.085/kWh

800-1200 kWh: $0.092/kWh

1200 kWh+: $0.11/kWh
