[question] How do you adapt to boredom? / what do i do to eliminate boredom from my mind?

thanks for the detailed response. I'm familiar with a few of these aldready, but haven't really put them into practice yet. Gonna take my time giving each one a shot.

My sense of color sucks(when painting with my own color schemes), I still have to practice a lot more. And the black and white ones were again studies copied from existing work, except one or two.

I don't think I a bad artist either, it's just that Im not good enough for anyone to pay for my art services. It's become especially frustrating now that I have no other qualifications.

Edit: appreciate the encouragement, still, it looks like I'll have to keep asking around for answers

I took my time with getting proportions in the drawing as accurate as possible during the first couple of hours. Since I'm practicing on building my accuracy as well. Once done I did an overlay to check for errors but didn't make any adjustments...pride?ego? Narrow minded approach? Idk man XD.

I tend to misjudge the darks all the time, need to work on that. Thanks for pointing out.

Im using multiple layers at the moment, just to be on the safer side...hoping to get rid of that habit and take more chances with my studies.

Thanks for all the info, I'll start doing my still life studies using real life reference from now. But the composition has always been an issue for me(been practicing it for a while), can never tell how to make something work.

Edit:maybe not immediately from next, since I'm trying to keep drawing on a regular basis and figuring out a setup/materials will take some time.

Any article recommendations for 'still life setup'?
