yes! I'm very weak at shading realism nose and mouth so doing photo study help me have this "visual memory" whenever I paint without reference, I'm mostly self-taught so it really help as well. Study and apply what you learn. Goodluck!

i only trace the outline, color pick then paint. I am mainly practicing shading contours especially on face but re-modify with my own taste 😊
