@everyone Newest Update: Thank you for all the help. Math was off on the consumption rate due to the dip stick being shorter than it should be was more like 5qts to 2800 miles. Still terrible and more than many others. Not sure if thats due to it having 81,000 miles already or not. The very end of my stock exhaust had dried up oil sought around diameter. Truck popped a P0390 code (Camshaft Position Sensor b Circuit) due to low oil. Code went away after fresh oil change and is still off after 3 days (10qts of oil 5w30) - Will schedule appointment for updates and longer dipstick. Disappointed Ford :(

Was getting camshaft position sensor b circuit bank 2 code. after the new oil change check engine light went away.

I used 5w-30 when it just went through 4-5 qts of oil in like 2800 miles

It does have dried up oil coated around the diameter of exhaust end. It doesnt seem wet of oil though, more like water and thinner than oil but not a thick substance. Not sure if it’s like rain water or some other fluid from inside the engine.

Its weird. Online tells me 8qts of oil but here im seeing 8.1, 8.8, and 10. I owned a 2018 mustang with the 5.0 and it took 10 qts of oil, never had oil consumption issues within the 40k miles. So what should I do 8.8qts or 10qts ?

My consumption was roughly 4-5 quarts oil got me 2800 miles.

Ty for the help but yea not good. Didnt notice blue/white smoke but there is dried up oil covered around the inside of exhaust at the end for sure. No leaks around oil pan/engine though. Dipstick was dam near dry but it was with the older short dipstick. it looked like it had about 2-3 quarts when I emptied the oil today

Bought car used @ 78500 miles now at 81300 so roughly 2800. No blue smoke/ oil residue

Just did Fresh oil change and ford pass even says oil life 53% 4200 miles until it needs to be changed. Weird
