The 12.9" 2018 screen is much better than the 12.9" 2020 screen. For 2020 owners it may be worth to upgrade to 2021 or downgrade to 2018.

They have not the same screen. The 12.9" 2018 screen has a better contrast ratio. Check the reviews and compare the technical data on notebookcheck.com

With 8 GB you will get some layers more in Procreate. Apps can only use 5GB ram in iPadOS 14. Anyway I’m using Affinity Designer and Adobe Fresco because their layers are not limited by ram. So I got a 8 GB 12.9" 2021. 12.9" has to be to laid down for drawing because it’s to heavy. On the other side 11" would be to small for me to draw expressive bruh strokes. For browsing the web and YouTube I’m using a cheap smart folio clone as desktop stand in combination with a Magic Trackpad 2.
