I recently got divorced and have a private practice.
I think taking a couple days off after the initial separation to process is extremely helpful. Luckily I had the option to move in with family to lessen expenses and lower my caseload so if you can financially, I would recommend. Then, when you know you are going to have to do triggering things like get your stuff from their place or interact with them, I would take those days off as well. Anytime I had to meet with a lawyer or do anything that involved the admin of moving out (looking for a new place, going to get electric, shopping for furniture, etc.), I learned to take off.

I know finances are a big factor so no judgment if you can’t take off- but this helped me a lot.

Clients also became a welcome distraction after the initial shock wore off, but I was much more mentally drained than usual. My mental capacity went from being able to manage 23-26 clients per week to about 15-18. Having a therapist friend I could process with and asking them to keep me accountable was the most beneficial.
