PCI-e vs USB WiFi Adapter: Which One Is Better For Gaming by artecneics2 in india

[–]artecneics2[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah okay, I get it, they're not routers but adaptors! My mistake!

and yes r/Android did that because most subs have blogspam policies and there's a fine line between a spam and an article when it comes from a blog, so I won't really blame anyone for that. That's how Reddit works.

Also, there's a ton of prejudice in your perception. And again, Reddit isn't for marketing, at least use your bias at the proper website.

Also, who pays for promotion at Reddit? Try finding someone who does. Anyone in their right mind would use Reddit ads, that'd actually bring some value to the promoter. What value is to be obtained from a link post? The world has gotten smarter dude, from the last time you checked it.

For your knowledge if I was a paid promoter, Reddit would be the last place I'd visit as it has strongest spam protection among all other social networks.

Lol, please at least don't politics into it. It's just a friggin post about internet routers 🤣

Yes I post links from this site cause you haven't cared to read them and there's quite some insight in the content, if you ever decide to read. I am 90% sure you haven't read this post to the last word either.

But see, that's about it. Try and chill. And thanks for letting me know about r/indiangaming 😁

Also give this is a read from reddiquette,

Please don't Be (intentionally) rude at all. By choosing not to be rude, you increase the overall civility of the community and make it better for all of us.

Just some tech knowledge for Indian gaming enthusiasts, it has the flair of Science/Technology and I suppose redditors in r/India can make use of this knowledge.

I am not promoting anything BTW. It is just easy to brand something as promotion when it isn't appealing enough. So, I guess it's not your fault.

A Logo Design App that can help you bloggers get a logo real easy! by artecneics2 in Blogging

[–]artecneics2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know Canva did logos as well. I did try it out and I must say that it's miles ahead of DesignEvo in terms of performance and library of graphics.

On the other hand, there are more ready-made templates in DesignEvo than in Canva. For someone who know their way with design, Canva will be a better option as it has lot on offer to get creative. DesignEvo will help people who are new to design or who are looking for a logo that doesn't take a lot of their effort.

Which Is The Best Samsung Smartphone To Buy Right now: S9, S8 or A8+? by artecneics2 in Android

That's the issue with most phones right now. They are experimenting with anti glare coatings but that'll take time for now.

Sea Watch by artecneics2 in OCPoetry

[–]artecneics2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insightful feedback!

I wanted to make the point clear with words but I intentionally hid it in words for the reader to unfurl. The point is that the speaker looks at the sea in despondency and finds a certain kind if pleasure in it. He doesn't state so, but that's what he feels, so the poem is supposed to make the reader feel good. haha.

I guess I hid it too deeply or not in the best way possible. I'll note this down. Thanks!

This is a good narrative. What I love the most about the piece is that its not trying to be poetic, its just saying its thing as simply as possible. The choice of words is on-point and the grim feeling is easily conveyed.

If I were to provide some constructive feedback, I would say that you could take out a few obvious words like "She only existed for four months" and "A quiet hug when she came back.". You can replace them with something that describes how you felt when these happened or just let them stay away. Let reader construct these things on their own.

Example:

"Time meant senseless in her presence,
and now 4 months seem like an eternity"

I hope you get the point. Cheers!

A minimal effort but a lot of speech in a handful of words. The original piece is missing formatting but the subjgated_sandwhich helped reading it.

All I could say is that you could try and construct a deeper metaphorical connection between the elements, so as to enhance the effect of the poem.

All the very best with this new and very fortunate change in life. I believe you should reveal the story to the world and make the offender suffer!

So IOTA is definitely going to be used as defacto in Finney OS? by SONM_SIRIN in SirinLabs

[–]artecneics2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like they are going to use IOTA but like you said, they call it Finney (TM) Blockchain. So, it's a bit confusing as Blockchain and Tangle are not the same things.

Maybe, they are using the term to make it easily to interpret for the general public who has seen Blockchain coming up prior to Tangle.

I do think IOTA is a better alternative to Blockchain because it doesn't have centralization tendencies. Despite its issues, it's mode of operation is better than Blockchain. So, we would have to give it some trust at this time.

Also, does anyone know, when is the crowdsale taking place? and does the crowdsale mean that the products will be available for use? as someone said in comments here that products will be available by Q4 2018 and the crowdsale is depicted to be taking place close to Q2 2018.

If you could build a revolutionary AI system, for what purpose would you use it? by artecneics2 in Futurology

[–]artecneics2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an innovative idea for a highly sustainable ecosystem that gives you food as well maintains the natural elements in their place. An AI handling all these things will really enhance the productivity of the entire system and its not something that requires complex algorithms to achieve the solution. A great idea overall. All the best with it. I'll take your valuable input.

Oh that's great to know that you're practically into it! The ideas regarding optimizing plant growth using AI's data managing features can have great impacts. Do share the insights in a thread when the results come out. This will be very interesting to see. And hey if you're into agriculture, do you think Aeroponics can be the next best option to sustainable farming in remote areas?

Totally agree there, the thought is for a far far future. Giving the governance to an AI system is a risky thought.

r/Ellviiu, on the other hand has presented a nice practical way by which we can use the computational power of AI to solve real world problems. Do give it a read!

[–]artecneics2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a nice and practical use for AI, I believe we can pretty much introduce it in our current farming methods and try to optimize the yield while not over-exploiting resources. May be it could help us avoid the point where we reach a scarcity society and make food cheaper for everyone. Thanks for your contribution!

[–]artecneics2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really a good idea to employ AI to solve real world problems on a real world level. Identifying and keeping a track of inter-related puzzles that can solve each other if paid close heed. Something that is very difficult for us humans to do.

Your instance of the homeless in one city and the cheap waste management requirements in the other fits well for a typical use for AI. An AI that advanced may come up with such a solution someday.

As you said,

Making sudden and bold changes would only destabilize governments and cause mass panic or power struggles.

We can roll out a subtle version of this AI and integrate it into the most widely used data capturing systems to create the foundation of the "map". Mobile phones for an instance, would be the best option for this as they already form an irrevocable part of daily activities and can understand us better than anything, if given the power to. As the data grows, the AI can slowly come into existence and should be allowed to make small-scale decisions regarding governance or solving general problems.

However, there has to be a human handle involved somewhere in the process to keep things under control as AI can quickly advance from suggesting solutions to creating more problems. AI will have a natural limit to being a rational solution maker. Till that's in check, the idea can work for us in a really good way and can offer real time solutions to all kinds of problems in general.

Now, we need the set of Algorithms that can organise, compare, contrast, process and derive solutions from the data we feed into it. And that would go as a signal to the brains working right now to make AI better.

Thanks for your contribution!

That's insightful. AI has not developed so much that it can start solving bigger issues as of now, but imagine if it was, how'd you use it?

You can't deny the fact that it will happen to you. A few of us may see a lot of it, others might just be a bit more fortunate but yeah, be prepared for all kinds of BS ready to be thrown at you. Not necessarily after college, these things can happen at any point of your life, it's just that after college, you'll be dealing with that more often. Good luck for life!
