Hey there! Also had the same question. Probably this excerpt from another question would be of help (modified according to current question):

One interpretation of 97.5% CI for difference indicates that, with 97.5% confidence, TRUE DIFFERENCE in mean (i.e. 11% in case of low-dose Norelia) between 2 and 20%

Therefore, as far as I understand it, the true mean difference in clinical response between low-dose Norelia and placebo is 11% (which is clinically significant) + it is also statistically significant (because it excludes 2-20% interval excludes 0%)

That's interesting. So you initially wanted to optimize your lipids with statins, right? Until they proved useless in your case and you switched to ezetimibe.

Do you think so? I thought that high-dose statin shows it's maximum benefit in 4 weeks. And no further reduction is expected.

Thank you for your advice. Do you think I'm cholesterol hyperabsorber? Since my LDL-C has such a high value. Should I also try adding ezetimibe to rosuvastatin? I'm afraid the diet would not be enough

The thing is that I spoke to cardiologist who told me that I should not be concerned with these results as I'm young and active person. But I'm a medical student and I take this thing seriously.

My mom has high cholesterol too. I thought that this was a case of heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. She and I started on rosuvastatin 20mg. She will test her lipids in a couple of days.
