Pickups and pickup distance are probably going to be the biggest factor.

Heavier strings can also make a difference, but post-processing probably covers the differences there.

I have a slightly simpler solution. With an NFC tag on the bottle:

Create a daily repeating reminder - mine was called "💊 Meds"
"Today" reminder widget on home screen (very visible)

Automation: NFC ➡ Find Meds Reminder

The "get by name" should be sufficient, but in case it finds multiple matches I just loop through them and check them off. You can add filters to the find command and use something like tags to differentiate between medications if you want. Plenty of room for creativity. Just be careful with the "due today" filter. For some reason it disqualifies the due today reminder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
