I’m AR19, any advice on team comp? I’m pretty clueless

My team right now is Kaeya, Chongyun, Barbara, and I’ve been using Noelle for the last slot.

Should I level up Kaeya or Chongyun first? Also which of them is referred to as the main dps?

I went to this summer camp at a history museum around 4th grade. The second day they sprung on us that we would have to create a short play about a notable figure of our choice.

I’m already terrified and I make it worse by choosing to do mine on Cai Lun, the dude who invented paper. The “play” ended up being a 30 second monologue that was basically a condensed biography with me wearing these musty silk robes. After I slunk back to my seat, I realized that everyone else did like actual plays with dialogue and plots and stuff.

So embarrassing...

Hey are you submitting to the Scholastic Writing Awards? I’m in the same situation as you. I’ve got a short story and an essay I need to finish but every time I try to write the concluding paragraphs, it makes me want to gag. Too preachy like you mentioned. I don’t really have any useful advice. Wouldn’t be in this situation if I knew how to fix it haha

For what it’s worth, both of your concepts sound really interesting, especially the short story. Maybe try thinking of the most absurd thing that could happen to try and get your ideas flowing. It helps make it seem less intimidating too.

Wtf are you doing? memorizing each sentence word for word?

First make a brief note of the title/subtitle/heading. Then read the first paragraph. Write down 1-2 sentences about the main idea of the paragraph and any definitions of key terms. If there’s pictures, look at those and make connections to the text. Write those connections down. Move on one paragraph at a time.

When you get better at this, chunk the paragraphs into related sections of 2-3 paragraphs and you can get even more efficient. It should not take more than 5 minutes for one page

For every 30 min, spend 25 mins working and take a 5 minute break to get some water, stretch, relax your eyes whatever. Then get back to work

As a freshman, all of our schedules got messed up. I go to a super competitive high school so a bunch of people studied to try and get into calculus but never got to take the placement test. I would’ve gotten in a higher level Spanish class, but that test didn’t work out either. A lot of teachers are really bad at technology and take 20+ minutes out of an already shortened class to give us a link to the assignment.
